Corsair’s New Line of DDR3 Appears with a Vengeance

Corsair has introduced its new line of PC3-12800 (DDR3-1600 MHz). The memory kits named Corsair Vengeance. Vengeance modules use standard height DIMM PCBs using a light Heatsink that is slightly taller than the PCB. Heatsink looks like the GSkill RipJaws Memory Heatsinks. Heatsinks are colored black with a carbon fiber design in the middle.

Its memory can operate at speed of 1600 MHz with DRAM voltage of 1.5V. The modules come in 2 GB and 4 GB variants while making:

  • Single channel (single module) memory kits
  • Dual channel memory kits
  • Triple-channel memory kits

These kits are available in capacities of 4 GB (single module), 8 GB (2X4 BG) dual-channel, 6 GB (3X2 GB) triple-channel and 12 GB (3×4 GB) triple-channel.

  • 4GB (1x4GB) 1600MHz 9-9-9-24 @ 1.5V Single-Channel DDR3 (CMZ4GX3M1A1600C9)
  • 6GB (3x2GB) 1600MHz 8-8-8-24 @ 1.5V Triple-Channel DDR3 (CMZ6GX3M3A1600C8)
  • 8GB (2x4GB) 1600MHz 9-9-9-24 @ 1.5V Dual-Channel DDR3 (CMZ8GX3M2A1600C9)
  • 8GB (2x4GB) 1600MHz 8-8-8-24 @ 1.5V Dual-Channel DDR3 (CMZ8GX3M2A1600C8)
  • 12GB (3x4GB) 1600MHz 9-9-9-24 @ 1.5V Triple-Channel DDR3 (CMZ12GX3M3A1600C9)
  • 16GB (4x4GB) 1600MHz 9-9-9-24 @ 1.5V Dual-Channel DDR3 (CMZ16GX3M4A1600C9)
