Parrot AR Drone iPhone Controlled Helicopter

Still iPhone is top discussed gadget and included more technologies with it. When you are not controlling your TV, car or stereo with your iPhone, you can use it as a game controller. The company Parrot hit with the idea to design a toy helicopter controlled by iPhone, the Parrot AR Drone iPhone Controlled Helicopter.

AR Drone really dragged the dream games to a reality. This great device has been the prior attention of the visitors at CES 2010. This quadricopter is a toy for big boys and is unique in itself. It carries a lot of technologies in it which can be revealed from the video below. This flying vehicle is controlled over Wi-Fi connectivity via iPhone where iPhone keeps an application specially loaded for AR Drone Helicopter. This application allows the users to control the aircraft simply by giving directions from iPhone gadget. Player can either rotate or slant the helicopter and move it to fly wherever they want.

The AR Drone helicopter comes with two mounted cameras. One is on the front and the other is underneath the helicopter. These cameras beam images back to the iPhone which helps the player to see where the helicopter is flying. Player can see their helicopter flying even if it is behind the wall or on the other place away from their site.

Parrot AR Drone is really an argumented reality game for big boys. It includes a couple of AR games together. Parrot has not yet announced the launching date and final price for AR Drone Helicopter. It can be announced anytime mid or later in 2010. I am also anxious to know when AR Drone gets ready to be available. It’s really a fun along with the latest technology.
