Nokia Messaging Now Includes Windows Live Messenger

Nokia breaks pleasing news for the people using Nokia Messaging. Nokia has introduced the world’s most popular instant messaging service in their handsets by default. Yeah…Windows Live Messenger is now available for Nokia Messaging users.

All users who were missing Windows Live Messenger on their handsets now can enjoy all features of it on their Nokia homescreen. It is just like you use it on your desktop.

Through Nokia Messaging Windows Live Messenger, users can access the following features:

  3. Tabbed chat windows
  4. Changing the required status

Zombie Mobile Virus Costs Users $300,000 a Day

A virus as an antivirus application is affecting countless mobile phones in China. It let the hackers to take control of the phone. Then, it started to send infected links to other mobiles using the mobile contacts. This virus is Zombie virus and has been infected a million mobile phones.

Chinese media has reported that as a minimum 10 other applications parallel to the one having this Zombie virus have been noticed since Sep 2010. With a one more trouble, antivirus softwares can’t detect these malevolent viruses.

Most viruses just spread using clicks and the worst thing that occurs is that one has to run some antivirus software. Zombie software is costing phone owners a pretty penny, about $ 300,000 per day by adding the malicious issue of this bit of malware.

A question arise here that what can one do to avoid a virus like this while travelling?

  • One should not open suspicious links in text messages, event if those are from someone he knows.
  • Obtain pre-paid phone plans so that if SIM is in use of a isolated hacker, there’ll be a fixed quantity of messages sent prior to one run out of cash on your account




Epson Launches New Projector Range

Epson, the printer ink maker has commenced a series of lightweight projectors for the mobile presenter market.

Devices are smaller than the standard laptop with 1.7 kg weight and 44m height. These projectors are:

  • Epson EB-1750
  • EB-1760W
  • EB-1770W
  • EB-1775W

These devices are designed to be easily carried around in a laptop bag. Furthermore, an accessible set-up function is added in these devices, which mean the projectors are easy to use in a variety of different locations.

These devices utilize Epson’s 3LCD technology giving them up to 3,000 lumens of brightness. In full daylight attendees of presentations can still easily take notes. Market development manager for Epson UK, Graeme Davidson, said, “These products are the ultimate in mobile presenting.”

Earlier this month Epson is planning to release a new business printer series, too. Upcoming range AcuLaser C3900N can print up to 30 documents per minute and benefits from using high-yield ink cartridges and double-pack black ink cartridges. This series is designed to allow cost-per-page output.
